Wonderland Trail Day 6

Today we hiked 14 miles from Granite Creek to Summerland.

A vigorous uphill hike to Skyscraper Pass helped to shake the morning chill.

Marmots!

We had Berkeley Park to ourselves on an early Monday morning.

We passed a bear playing near Frozen Lake.

We hiked past the Sunrise Camp and Shadow Lake.



The hike down to White River offered still more views of Rainier.

We reached White River Campground to find the bridge washed out, so after opening our cache, we hiked down the road to rejoin the Wonderland Trail!

The hike up to Summerlands campground was, as we've come to expect, scenic.
