Schloss Leopoldskron

For the past week, I've participated in the Salzburg Global Seminar in Salzburg, Austria. Faculty, staff and administrators (fellows) from around the world participate in a series or lectures, discussions and working groups around the area of Global Citizenship. There are about 50 total fellows, about 15 from San Jose State. I have made a lot of new friends, but have really bonded with the SJSU group. We have had a blast. We are staying at the Schloss Leopoldskron, a Palace commissioned by the Prince-Archbishop Leopold in 1736. Max Reinhardt, theater director, bought the place in 1918, and it was featured in the Sound of Music.
