It's been a while. So long that we need to update the blog title to "leave the dogS at home." In fact, we'll be doing just that this summer- leaving the dogs that is, although by the time you read this, the blog title will likely be updated too. In ten days, I'm leaving for a five-week trip to Europe. I've been planning the trip for months, but now that school's out for summer, I'm finalizing details and getting ready to go!
The basic itinerary is:
June 11-15: Tavira, Portugal with (most of) the Fam!
June 16-18: Madrid with Lila!
June 19-22: Paris
June 23-27: Brussels with Miles and Belgian crew!
June 28-29: Paris
June 30-July 7: Patras, Santorini and Athens, Greece with Brian!!
July 8-15: Salzburg, Austria for Salzburg Global Seminar with SJSU folks and others
The plan is to post notes and pictures here along the way, both to avoid the prospect of sifting through thousands of photos at the end of the trip and also to let Joey and Rufus follow my travels.
